The ITT guys got back to me. THEY can’t do the 2/11 date and can only do the 18th. This is after our unveiling, but I think it is still a good idea. Please check your calendars. Unless something changes, we’ll take a small crew up on February 18. We will still be selecting the drive team and pit crew over the next couple of weeks so they can prepare. Keep up the good work!

We will be in the shop this Saturday from 10A to 6P. Driver’s practice will be on SUNDAY from 12-1 and then we’ll be in the shop from 1-5. See you there!

Hey everybody! Great work on the robot. We have a new deadline! We have an invitation to use the Rebound Rumble playing field at ITT in Charlotte. On February 11, we’ll take a small crew of Pirates and whatever robot we have to try it out on the real deal and scout the competition. That means we have to lock in our Drivers and Pit Crew BEFORE February 11. Drivers, the first practice will be on this Sunday (1/29) at 12:00 noon at the shop. Be there if you want to drive. It’s gonna be fun! Go Pirates!

Great work this week Pirates! We got a lot done, but there is so much still to do. We will be in the shop Saturday 1/21 and Sunday 1/22. Saturday we are scheduled to be there from 10A to 8P. If we finish our work or come to a good stopping place, we’ll stop early. Let your folks know. Sunday will be from 1-5 PM. Driver’s practices (for people trying out for the driver’s team) will start next weekend. Be sure to sign up if you want to try out to for the Drive Team.

Last night went REALLY well. We got a prototype launcher going. The cRIO imaged, and we got most of the parts for the seesaw ready. We’ll be in the shop Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is a long day and I may cut us off at 6pm instead of 8 pm. We’ll see how it’s going. Keep intouch with your folks/ride in case we split up a little earlier. Sunday should still be 1 to 5 PM.
