We’ve been looking at the schedule and made some revisions. Here is the plan. We will meet tonight (Tuesday 3/27) at 6:30 to unload and sort out gear. Be prepared if the meeting breaks up early. Drivers and Pit Crew (ONLY) will meet on Wednesday (3/28) at 6:30. The whole team will meet on Saturday at 1:00 for prep and planning. Then we’ll meet on Tuesday night (4/3) to load the trailer at 6:30PM. Advance teams leave at 5:30 PM on 4/4. Send me a note if you have any questions. See you there.
Well folks, I wasn’t sure we could do it, but we pulled out a second place finish in Charleston. Everybody really poured on the energy for Saturday to pull that one off! Thanks to everybody for your hard work. We will be at the shop Tuesday night to unload and have a short organizational meeting. We leave for Raleigh in 10 days and we have to be ready. More information on this weeks meeting schedule will follow. The Raleigh competition will be tough! There are a lot of strong teams there and we have to be ready. Get rested up and caught up on school work and be ready to go!
We’re leaving for Charleston this week. Advance Team leaves Wednesday afternoon. Everybody else leaves Thursday. Make sure you know when you’re leaving and with whom. Pack your gracious professionalism! I want everybody in Charleston to remember us for how cool we were and not for other reasons. Be prepared to be up and on task for all three days! This is our last full week before Charleston. BE PREPARED. Get your schoolwork in order and make sure you’re ready for competition. We have a bunch of meetings this week. Monday night at 6:30 we’ll meet with the PARENTS for a travel meeting at South Central High School room 406. Tuesday is a regular night at the shop 6:30-9. Wednesday is a meeting for drivers and the pit crew only at the shop 6:30-9. Friday night is a meeting for just the Programmers at the shop 6:30-9. Saturday is a regular meeting at the shop 1-5 PM. Still Busy. Keep studying the rules and watching the footage from other competitions. See you at the shop.
As we get ready for our first event in Charleston, make sure to get on line and review the rules and updates! Everybody needs to be familiar with the rules. Take some time to watch the live feed from the games this weekend in Toronto, Orlando or Baltimore (To name a few). Be ready to go.
