Pitt Pirates competed in the first ever District event held in Eastern North Carolina on March 4 & 5. Hosted at South Central High School, NC FIRST held the first District event for the 2017 season. Pitt Pirates were in the alliance with 3535 Roto-Raptors and 4290 Bots of War winning each of 3 rounds in two games to become the District Winners. And if that wasn’t exciting enough, Pitt Pirates were also awarded the District’s Chairman’s Award and the Safety Award at the District event. It was an exciting weekend full of celebrations and opportunities.

Pitt Pirates’ next competition is March 24 & 25 in Raleigh.

And Pitt Pirates would also like to give a Pirate ‘Arrgh’ to their sister team, Boneyard. Boneyard received the Team Spirit Award at the Pitt County District event.
