On April 8th and 9th, the Pitt Pirates made the journey with their robot Riptide to compete at the State level competition at Campbell University. After starting the weekend off bright and early with the bus ride out to Campbell and then some cheery good morning chants to greet fellow teams. Our team spent the days competing hard and cheering for every team even harder. After the tough two days of competition, we aligned with the RotoRapotors and the Chargers in the third seed alliance and managed to make it to the Semi-Finals! We took home the Spirit Award and ended the season as the 4th ranked team in North Carolina. FIRST Championship in Houston, here we come!
